Ok so hilarious story involving me and the only time I watched Up In The Air:

The only time I watched it was off a bootleg DVD. I guess something went wrong during the burning process, so the entire movie was jumbled and out of order. So it would play Chapter 1, then Chapter 5, 6, then circle back to Chapter 2, then play Chapter 8 and so on and so forth.

The funny part is that I thought it was a stylistic choice, like Reitman played out the consequence of something Clooney's character did, then inserted a flashback to show how he arrived there. The movie actually made sense in a weird way

It wasn't until I was about 80% through that the DVD abruptly skipped to the credits, then 5 minutes later jumped back to 20 minutes before that I realized what was going on. So my only experience with this film is that first viewing, I still don't know to this day how everything was supposed to flow lol.

    Damn good movie tho!

The first time I watched Goodfellas I didn't realize it was an old double-sided DVD that wasn't separating full from widescreen, but first half from second half

So I only watched the second half of Goodfellas the first time.

So you watched a Memento version of Up in the Air? That sounds pretty amazing.

Everyone needs to go see The Family Man right now! Unfortunately, looks like it's only streaming on Starz at the moment: https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/the-family-man But maybe your TV provider has it on-demand. It should not be tied for last. It's one of the feelest-goodest movies ever.

Kill Bill 2 isn't doing as well as its counterpart.

Volume 1 is a much better movie. But it's still leading this group somehow.

It's an amazing movie. And personally probably my favorite Tarantino. I have a hard time separating the 2 from each other though. I see them as 1 film. I'll have to look back at how many votes part 1 got.

It is hard to separate them. Vol. 1 is more set-up and posing questions, while Vol. 2 is more payoff and answering those questions.

Anyway, voted for Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Up in the Air, two of my favorite movies for sure.

We could legit have a separate thread on this. I happen to think Kill Bill Vol 2. is the superior film. Vol. 1 gets a lot of love because of its sword fights (which are amazing of course), but Vol. 2 has more character and depth.

And how sexy is that Wicked Games scene?
