A brilliant effort by the makers of Wallace and Gromit. This is a clever homage to one of my favorite wall films, The Great Escape.

4th NOMINATION

Once (2007)
Director: John Carney

This independent film is so bleeping good. One of the most romantic films in recent memory. In a year it goes from being a Sundance standout to winning an Academy Award for the two singer leads (neither of which had ever been in a movie), who themselves, fall in love while filming the movie. Then it goes on to be a Broadway musical as well. The soundtrack is equally impressive.

I did but 256 is still a lot. We'll never get everything in, there are hundreds of good to great movies being made each year and here we're doing ten years. We could do 288 or 320 but where does it stop?
