Hmmm, maybe soon! A member here helped me obtain a Jae Lee remarqued WTTKH UK S/L (1 of 200)...I have several USA S/Ls and several USA AEs and a couple UK 1 of 700 copies remarqued, but this will COMPLETE my Jae Lee WTTKH remarques with the UK S/L. I should have it maybe by Saturday?

Saw your post and realized my favorite King item was only one page back and I have new info, so I can update it. I've reached out to the printing companies (Viking/Doubleday/etc) that printed King's books all the way back in an attempt to locate more of these "dies" and it doesn't appear any else exist. Maybe someone from Grant can chime in if they kept any of the dies, but seems policy is to destroy them to minimize copyright issues. I had a number of "old timers" get back to me who ran the presses at various companies and all confirmed they would most likely have been destroyed unless some special circumstance was set up ahead of time.I posted last night when Bruce and I were going back and forth with Watership Down items in Pride and Joy forum (HE won!).
Here is one of the items I was teasing about in this thread for the past week or two. (I think the best one too).
I present the actual Copper "die" used for every 1st/1st Needful Things book. They use Magnesium these days b/c cheaper, but for large runs in the past they would use Copper. This run wasn't too large that they needed more than one of these so this touched every 1st/1st before going out to all our feverish hands and onto our shelves. Later books would potentially use two of these "dies" b/c even the Copper strength would wear down after a million books are pressed. I believe policy was to destroy these after printing to avoid any fake ones being produced ever. I was able to find someone who worked at Viking for 20 years and they had taken a couple home years ago, so I swooped them up.
I think it's my neatest King item for sure.

Not sure if I posted this ever, but this was the only other one (well this 2nd set is technically TWO of a kind) that I could get. Later printing and a huge print run so they used two plates for this book. Try to show side view a bit so you can see how thick they were. I have a 2nd one of these not in a frame so I can hold it and I honestly feel like I'm holding a big chunk of gold as it's quite heavy. By far one of my favorite King items these "dies" are for these two books.

I know this isn't a promotional item as such, but my wife is hoping for some help. She was on facebook today and saw a sponsored ad with King wearing a black tshirt that may have said "i like to read books" with a picture of his face surrounded by all the titles of his books. Now she can't find it. (i gave up facebook 5 years ago, so i'm no help!)
Does this ring any bells? Anyone know the company that is producing them or where she can order them from?
