...and finally here's a bracket where bears haven't seen one single film

heather , mattrick, feverish, mae, Still Servant, and or anyone willing to help a bear - what do you think I should start with?

Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)

    bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd start with A League of Their Own but I'm probably biased since 1) I'm a big baseball fan and 2) the Rockford Peaches are probably the biggest thing to come out of my hometown other than Cheap Trick.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

Run Lola Run! It's such a creative and different type of film. She's literally running through the whole film

I haven't seen many of the others in this bracket though. Flatliners, which I enjoyed. And Tremors, which I also enjoyed. But I didn't vote for it here because I kinda see it as a B type horror film.

I second Run Lola Run. It's such a unique movie and I think it's something you will likely enjoy more than anything else in this bracket. My personal favorite is A League of Their Own, but I have my doubts as to whether or not you have to be a fan of baseball to truly enjoy everything the film has to offer.

what I fail to understand is how come we have probably only one Kurosawa movie here and it is probably the only Kurosawa movie I haven't watched

You'll probably be OK. They focus more on the story and the characters than the actual playing of the game. It's a really good movie too. Fictionalized but based on a true story.

My wife actually worked with a Rockford Peach at her previous job. They just within the last 10 year or so completely redid and updated the field they played on as well.

Yeah, this is a fairly weak bracket tbh. The Ref is a good comedy. Flatliners was a decent concept film. I've never really been that big into Tremors. Have seen a few, but I'd say A League of Their Own is the best of the lot that I've seen by a fair margin.

I love Tremors. B flick all the way, but when it came out, I believe I had a laser disc player, and had recently purchased a 5.1 surround sound system, and most importantly, a subwoofer. The sound on the movie was phenomenal. A bit like the 5th Element was visually mind blowing.

It's understandable that The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love only has two votes as it's a little-known indie movie but I hope at least some folks check it out, because it's really good.

Ugh I just looked and seems this isn't even streaming anywhere. I think it used to be on Prime but no longer: https://www.amazon.com/Incredibly-Tr...dp/B00BAK5GR6/ This is really sad, it's such a sweet and good movie, and no one has seen it apparently.

I thought I watch a lot of obscure movies, but this one takes the cake.
