    So, I was thinking...I don't think we're near running out of films to nominate yet...Why not have a "Wild Card Round"? Cap the nominations at 248, and have a mini 32-film bracket where the final 8 films get the last 8 nominations to 256?

    Honestly, it would prolong things too much. Tomorrow will be two weeks that the nominations have been ongoing and then the tournament itself will take around four months. That's a lot of time. And the goal is to do each decade, and we can really only do two decades a year. So we'll be done, oh gosh, in four years in 2023.

    Just be a bit more selective with what you nominate and second. There are 13 spots left and the list is already extremely well rounded.
