That is a lot for a book, but she annotated 43 pages and drew 22 illustrations in that copy.
I'm really not surprised that it sold for so much.

I believe that even without any of the annotations or illustrations, that particular edition of Philosopher's Stone is worth more than any Stephen King first edition.
