I'll get 'em all, hopefully. But I'm just crazy like that. My worry getting them through Waterstones is the shipping. Their packaging is usually horrible.

It's barely a bump on the side of the road, a main street without much else going for it (except for a diner with a VERY cool name!). Could be anywhere.

I liked it a lot -- it's not at all what I expected. It's quite a thriller with some very tense passages.

I can confirm WH Smith Purple version will have all 4 variant endpaper designs....

Oh and I can also confirm 100% NO UK Signed Limited of this book (no surprise really, but its good to know for sure)
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

Excellent. So only 9 variants to purchase this time.

    Thanks for the update, Simon!

No. It's not looking good. King might do some small "pop-up" signing, but no official multi-city tour.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I guess the Sleeping Beauties tour tired him out (combined with wanting to spend more time writing).

I think part of the sleeping beauties tour was so that OWEN could experience a crazy, full blown book tour. Stated by Marcia on the KING website that he had no tour planned for THE INSTITUTE.

"ish" -- I don't think I reveal much of substance, but if you're going to read the book anyway, you might want to hold off.

Yeah, I kind of want to go in as blind as possible (aside from the initial synopsis), so I guess I'll hold off. I tend to read reviews of books and movies after I read and see them now rather than before.
