This book always reminded me of a Dean Koontz story for some reason. Like if someone gave this book to me and told me that Koontz wrote it, I would totally believe it.

This is a very underrated book and I had trouble putting it down.
A moderate work...kinda like being a man who is 3/4 drunk and you go to take a piss then a power failure occurs... you must continue...you can't stop... it but you KNOW that when the lights come back on there will be a big mess.
(actually...there will be a big mess even if the lights don't come on. It's not like Schrodinger's cat.)
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
