You know The Talisman was one of my favorites, but I had to give this one a 2. It just seemed really slow at the beginning, and neither Jack nor the territories felt the same to me. Neither was interesting in the book. I am hoping there won't be another sequel. It felt more like a DT tie-in book then a Talisman sequel.

I keep meaning to revisit this one. The Talisman was one of my favorites, but this one didn't seem to grab me as much as I'd hoped that first time around.

The adventure seeking boy in me prefers The Talisman. The adult in me says Black House is superior.

I gave it a 5. The part with the shoebox is one of the most horrific, traumatizing scenes King has ever written.

My rating would be precisely opposite of this. Loved BH. Talisman was slightly better than average for me. It’s only redeeming factor being Wolf.
