A general technical question. I recently had a flash drive malfunction on me. Anyone know a reliable make and model to buy?

I think the person at the top is a distinguished, talented, greatly admired gentleman of rare taste and discernment who has never lied once in his entire life until now and what a strange feeling!

I forgot about this thread.
Sometimes, when I boot up my PC with Windows 10, a window opens saying it can not connect to Onedrive. I do not even know what Onedrive is, and I would like to know how to stop this window from popping up.

Is there any downside to disabling the OneDrive?
John
I've been on this thing all day since doing so, and I think I accidentally enabled it in the 1st place. Everything is working fine. Almost wish it wasn't since I've spent almost $400 on books the last couple of days. Things that come up once and you take them or most likely never see them again, so I took them.

I've discovered one thing that's changed when I disabled OneDrive--I no longer have the auto-save function in my Office programs--Excel, Word, etc. No big thing, but interesting.

· File
· Under Help, choose options
· Under Options, click the Save button
o SSelect Auto-Recovery and you can choose how often the document is AutoSaved. The default is 10 minutes, but you can choose your own time.
Just tried it. We'll see if it works. Thanks a bunch, RF!!

I've got a bunch of old programs like First Aid, Netscape Navigator, McAfee, Windows 90 whatever, etc. etc. in the original boxes. Is there any use for these whatsoever, or should I just chuck them all in the trash can?

These boxes are complete. One of them is missing a supplementary disc only. I have more boxes (I think), but I'd have to dig them out, and only if someone is interested in this stuff. I'd like to get a few bucks for it if it's still worth anything.
These are the discs, etc. without boxes, although I may be able to find the boxes up in the attic if it's worthwhile to do so:
I also have a few plastic storage containers for old style floppy discs if anyone has use for them. I can post a picture if someone wants to see them.
