Ouch, someone with a 2!
I've never really understood the love for this book. I've read it twice I think. The 2nd time I read it I had almost no recollection of my first reading. Even when Father Callahan popped up in the DT series I didn't remember him at all.
I don't know if I'd call it a "bad" book like The Tommyknockers or anything. It's just not a memorable book for me.
OK, flame away!
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
To me it always seemed like the perfect King book: nothing that didn’t make sense, creepy goings on, many characters met bad ends. I usually recommend this to people who’ve never read SK.
I can see why you'd say that. I gave the book a 4 because I did enjoy it, but it wasn't necessarily a favorite of mine.
And I sometimes wonder if my enjoyment of the book has a lot to do with me reading the series during heavy snowfall ,all bundled up on the couch with the curtains pulled back as I read. Sometimes its not all about the story, but about reading it at the perfect moment in time.

Another 5. One of my absolute favorites. Ive probably read it close to half a dozen times.
