I will THIRD "(amd013) USS Indianapolis Speech - Jaws"
My favorite movie of all time, and a scene that I wish I had gotten to nominate.
I hope that I did right in moving this to the last column on the chart. If not, I'm sorry.
This is my 1st THIRD.

Who nominated the "You Shall Not Pass!" scene from LoTR? It's the only one I couldn't find for some reason.

The list of individual seconds/nominations is up to date. Some of you folks need to start doing more seconding. The ratio of nominations to seconds is way out of balance for some.

Nice! Heather will be happy!
Are you referring to the Google Sheet I created or a post in this thread? Both of those scenes are in the Google Sheets flowchart.
That's up to Matt. He's the only one, outside of an admin, that can make changes to that post. Honestly, I think it's double work. We all should be referring to the Google Sheet I created. I'm staying on top of it, and it allows for any user to make changes. I will ask Matt to post the link at the very top of the first post in this thread.
It's also linked in my signature.

Honestly, I was ready to second/third a scene, but found no scene I liked enough.
Instead, another nomination:
I really wanted to nominate a scene from a charley Chaplin movie. I found three scenes I love:
*the fork dance (from the Gold Rush - awesome movie, awesome scene)
*welfare officers scene (The Kid, 1921)
Instead, I went for my third option, a scene still relevant today, and one of the best (movie) speeches ever!
nomination #11

"I really wish Hitchcock was still around and making movies. Just imagine what he could do with today's technology! "
Here you go....TOMMY An un-filmed Hitchcock.
I am desperate to nominate my next movie scene, but I'm going to make a second instead. This is in recognition that more 'seconds' are needed at present....
SECOND # 5
"You shall not pass" scene from The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

It probably makes sense that the nominations way out number the seconds and thirds since the number of nominations is essentially unlimited and we only have a certain number that can make it into the tournament. I'd rather choose my seconds from the largest pool possible.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
Nomination #5
