Just woke up, checked for release email (nuthin'), made breakfast for the kids, checked again (nuthin'), then on a hunch went to Paul's site and took a look .... ordering for The Road is LIVE right now folks! Unfortunately (but not unsurprisingly) the Lettered is sold out, but the Limited is available.

I tried for a lettered but I think my browser had cached the ordering page, and it kept asking me for the pre-public order password. By the time I thought to do a hard refresh of the page, it was sold out.

Do you remember what time you finally got through? I'm interested in how long the sell-out took.
I'm sure there were only a bare handful of unclaimed ones - if you've been on the lettered track a Cormac McCarthy book that's $1k cheaper than the average Suntup lettered would be a silly place to drop out!
The site went live at 8:59+ by my phone. It would have been 20-30 seconds later at most when they were sold out.

There was one lettered available for the public pre-order and it went in a few seconds. Someone was really fast. Thanks to those members who purchased a copy of The Road. I appreciate you.
In other news, the Limited and Lettered Horns are now printed and will be going to the binders next.
Wow only one left during the preorder, somebody was really Jonny on the spot with that one. And good news on Horns. But congrats on another wonderful release.
