    I chose the pig remarque for my copy of Misery, but completely fell in love with the Royal Typewriter remarque too.

    Although both remarques are stunning, I thought the Royal Typewriter was far too iconic to be placed within the pages of the book - so I asked Dave Christensen if he would be willing to undertake a private commission to create a piece of custom artwork, with the view of displaying it inside the traycase like a frontispiece to the book...

    Dave agreed to this request and created a Royal typewriter remarque so spectacular, I am literally lost for words!

    Not only did Dave painstakingly add each individual letter and symbol to the typewriter keys, he also included "115" down the side of the typewriter, thereby matching the limitation number on my copy of the book!

    To cap it all off, the remarque is inscribed: "For my #1 fan, writing does not cause misery, it is born of misery."

    Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

    In addition to the awesome "Schwag Kit" I received with my copy of Misery, a very kind member here also sent me a Hagen-Renaker emperor penguin and the ceramic pig that was included with the Lettered edition....

    They look fantastic together!

    I love the quality and presentation of the Suntup books. It's really a shame the shipping to Canada is so high, I was about to pull the trigger on the Artists edition of Horns and the shipping was almost as much as the book, yikes!
