Since some of them did not fit while still in the plastic sleeves, they were outside the box. I am anal about putting things in chronological order. I am undecided if to order them based on the publish date of the cover, or printing date of the print. If the later, I no longer remember the order you printed them in.

Is there somewhere where you have the print dates of the covers?

    Thanks,

This is the boat I am in - for the foreseeable future I am not a book collector I am a Suntup collector! I am pretty happy about it - I made the decision last fall to pare down my collection and go from quantity to quality and I don't think there's anyone putting out higher quality books than Paul.

That said, I am really hoping that he will venture outside of doing only King books - there are a lot of other books out there that, with his creativity, could be turned into marvelous limited editions. I realize that's not a popular opinion on these boards, though...

I wish I could have done the prints, they're beautiful, but I can't afford everything and so must be happy with what I've got, and I am!!!

I hope Paul keeps the number letter rights no matter if it’s Joe Blow or King. Imagine the nightmare for him too if he were to do it by author... that’s too much to handle for one chap. I think whatever he does by whoever... will be as we are accustomed too now. Out of this world amazing.

For clarification, ALL of the EOTD portfolios are sold out, not just the the ones numbered through #185. That’s what Paul told me a few days back and he confirmed it again today. Bummer for me, I wanted to buy one regardless of its number. Happy for Suntup Press though!

Just bumping this question as it went unanswered & I did manage ti snag a lettered so the answer is now more important then before. (I have had #301 with Donald M. Grant for for 26 years & have only bought King books.)
Based on the stated ownership model (owners of the previous title have rights to the next title), my guess is that you would have to purchase the book by Joe Blow, and resell it after you get the next book. That way you are always in possession of the "most recent title" and get to keep your rights. Just a guess, though!
That's an idea.. or just start reading and collecting Joe Blow from now on... ;-)

Paul, I’m looking forward to seeing what other authors you have in the pipeline, especially if they’re outside the horror genre.

I’d love for you, or one of our other respected independent presses, to do something like a signed limited edition of Margaret Atwood’s MaddAddam (Oryx and Crake, etc.) trilogy. Not that I expect you’re looking for ideas.

Grim Oak Press is expanding his fantasy lineup. Their lettered of Sword Of Shannara was pretty nice, not even close to Paul's imagination, but nice.

Okay... so I know we are still in Misery hype.. but I am one of those collectors who collects multiple authors so I will probably enjoy the Joe Blow authors (great suggestion on Atwood. I'd die for a S/L Handmaid's Tale), I was wondering if we will have to wait until Misery is published before the next book is announced or should we expect Suntup to be moving along at a faster pace with it's new book offerings?

Yes, I'm looking forward to what other authors / books may get the "Suntup" treatment... Look out Centipede Press and Charnel House!! Of course, if you need suggestions for the next project, I'm sure a few (dozen) members here would happily assist
Oh yeah do a James Herbert, Paul!! 8)
James Herbert would be cool, but what about a super deluxe 40th Anniversary S/L edition of Ghost Story (1979) by Peter Straub.

    And/or

A super deluxe and heavily illustrated edition of The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. (I would just HAVE to get the Lettered of this).

I could absolutely get behind this (more accurately, I could get behind a $100 gift edition of this)...and do I have to mention Shadowland again?

You can't go wrong with TDC and I'm sure Suntup would nail it, but have you looked at existing fine editions of this (secondary market, of course)? They're definitely out there; Folio Society and Easton Press come to mind, and there are others. When it comes to illustrations, those from Dore and Botticelli are amazing.

Michel Faber's "Under the Skin" is due for the treatment. A top notch edition of that book would be great.
