I should add that I did receive the email about me winning $100 Million in the sweepstakes though.

Haha, Suntup emails are some of the only ones that I actually DO open

To be sure, it really requires the recipient to add your domains to their "safe sender" list.

And probably on the user end, there is most likely a spot (called a white list) where you can say @suntup is not spam.

So you get informed about when emails are opened? Normally if a email software gives the option of not acknowledging receipt of an email, then I choose that option. I like plausible deniability (and privacy). I don't think my main personal email has that feature, but I believe I have disabled "read" notifications on my work email. (need to double check that)

I can put a "tracker" on individual emails that tracks how many times its been opened and let's me know when it is, regardless of the end-user settings.

I use Mailchimp which provides repots on open rates. For example, on email ABC your open rate was 48%. Meaning 52% of the emails were sent, but never opened. My guess is that the majority ended up in spam, so they are never seen.

I do the same. I have all me email system set to not send read receipts so even though I open every one you probably miss that metric. Wouldn't surprise me if 10% of your population have that set

I burned my @yahoo account in a Teamster fire barrel because it put your email in the spam folder. I was shocked it was in there. Now I need a new laptop.

No they did not. If it was an hour it was a long time. But does that mean that these "extras" will add to the total up to 255 for sale instead of 250? I mean, not that I care for value. It just great that 5 were found and bought. I wonder
if they went to people who did not get it the first time.

I wouldn't think so. Maybe cancelled orders or whatnot.

I saw an eBay ad that was attempting to sell a damaged AGE for $90

Your logic makes more sense Brian. Probably cancelled orders. It's just the way Paul worded the email that's all.

That's what I thought afterwards. It would be weird if it were my way of thinking. But that thought did come from me so.. I guess it's to be expected.

After a shipment, it is normal for some extra copies to remain. The editor often reserves some copies, although there are always exceptions. But the limitation does not extend.

I don’t know a better place to put this request than here: I very badly want to own a red snakeskin copy of Horns, and while I fully plan on winning the drawing, should my luck fail, I’m willing to pay a very nice price for one!

So if you find yourself in possession of a red snakeskin Horns after this weekend, and you’d rather be in possession of a cool chunk of cash, please do let me know!

I know the window for entering the drawing closes soon, but when will the winner actually be announced? Did I miss that bit of information?
