That's Paul's Poetry. Makes me ant to try and publish mine.

Not predictions or "classics" but just random ideas:

    No law against non-fiction right?

The Stranger Beside Me by Anne Rule (true is scary!)

    Running with Scissors (Augusten Burroughs)

You could have a lot of fun creatively with:

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda

    The Invention of Hugo Cabret

    Before the Fall (Noah Hawley)

If you are going with a Non-Fiction on Ted Bundy I think The Only Living Witness is by far the most disturbing.

Yeah, I know that exists. I'm talking about interviews that were specifically about Paul's plans for SE beyond Misery. He talked about wanting to publish poetry and I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about his own.

Since I'm being nosy, here's another thing you mentioned once: the coffee-table version of the Covers Collection. How's that going?

Some great nonfiction books by Jon Krakauer could be good for the signed limited treatment. Into Thin Air was a great read and Under the Banner of Heaven was disturbing as shit.
    Looking for:
    - Philtrum Press Eyes of the Dragon RED #165
    - Fine Viking Eyes of the Dragon proof

Really good question. It’s going to be interesting for sure. It’s no secret that I intend on publishing books that are outside of the horror genre. There is actually a poetry book in the works. It’s a Pulitzer winner from a poet who I have long admired. He was also an influence on my own writing.

I do agree that it could be a hard sell in our world, but I expect sales to come from the poetry community as well. Either way it certainly is risky, but I think I said this before, I am driven by the desire to produce beautiful books, regardless of what genre they are in. This will be unexplored territory, but I have my compass to lead the way and calculated risk doesn’t scare me.

I also have a book that will be announced in the near future that will raise some eyebrows. If you think poetry is out there, wait until you see this one. But I love the book and I just want to do it. And if no one buys it, well I guess I’ll have a bunch of copies for myself.

This all said, I obviously have an affinity for horror. I grew up on it, and the genre will continue to be explored by the press. The next two are both in that genre. We are gathering the rusted old chains for one of them as we speak. And yes there will be science fiction as well.

You're killing me. If this is a Palahniuk book, I'll be dead. Or Butcher Boy by Patrick McCabe. Or Cell or Gerald's Game. Dead dead dead dead.
I would love to see SUNTUP or LETTERPRESS do sweet editions of Margaret Atwood’s ORYX AND CRAKE/MADDADAM trilogy. And the author could sign!
I want it noted for the record this is the first time (first I've seen) when Suntup and LetterPress have been mentioned together as the only two publishers to whom an appeal for a fine edition(s) has been made. This suggests something of an equivalency. Is someone taking notes? Is there a record?
I’ll always enjoy CD, PS, Sub Press, Charnel, and the others. It’s just that Suntup and Letterpress seem to be really raising the bar!
