I deny all of those allegations.
But seriously he’s kidding.
New book announcement this week.
Sword in The Darkness?
Wish List:
Any of the following flatsigned or inscribed-
It, Shining, Salem’s Lot, Mr. Mercedes, The Stand
Brother ARC, Seed ARC
Everyone always mentions SITD, but (although it's been awhile since I've heard about it) didn't King confirm that it was never finished, and wasn't the plot description something dull as dirt? I always wonder why people care.

Now is a good time for me to ask if anyone has done what I intended to do but never did...
Has anyone taken note of the sequence and dates of Suntup's announcements? I feel like I need a timeline...

SK submitted SITD to 12 publishers back in 1970 and it was rejected by all. From a historical and developmental perspective I think it would be very interesting to read. There was a sample chapter (71) included in Stephen King: Uncollected, Unpublished that provided an idea of the caliber of writing and it is similar to the other books he wrote at that time, especially The Long Walk. SK scholars who have read the entire manuscript say that it is unpublishable in its current state and SK has said he has no interest in a rewrite similar to what he did with Blaze and will never allow it to be published. SITD is probably not a very good story but if given the opportunity I would definitely read it.
And this one
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
If I’m reading eBay correctly, two copies of Hill House sold recently for $850 (this one came with an EotD portfolio) and $975.
I had no idea this book had gone up in value so much. Last time I checked, they were selling for prices in the $400-500 range, I believe.
Anyone with a lifetime subscription sure made one hell of an investment...
Sold for 700

Listed for auction starting at 750 or BIN for 975, sold for 975

Looking for:
- Philtrum Press Eyes of the Dragon RED #165
- Fine Viking Eyes of the Dragon proof
$850 (with EotD portfolio) and $975.
The latter was listed a bunch of times with a starting bid of $750 and a BIN of $975. It didn’t sell for the starting bid on two occasions and suddenly someone paid 30% extra, so maybe there’s something fishy going on there, I don’t know.
