    Yes, the Nicolas Cage film is a remake. The original came out in 1974.

    When typing the title in in the french amazon, I got a suggestion that the book wll be reprinted in english (as a paperback?) by Gallery Books on the 31st of october?

    This could have been a drive in double bill in 1974 Because both are 1974 movies. (I posted this before that "SOMEBODY DID THERE HOMEWORK"

    I had several bother me moments - like at the coin show when the guy asked her if she was interested in "commemorative state quarters". Unless I missed something those came out starting in 1999.

    That is correct. They are also taking over the eBook edition at that time.
