Default Great Music - Finals: 2005-2009 (Final 13 of 14)

For this playoffs poll, please choose one track to move on to the Tournament Finals as the representative of this time period in music.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for twelve days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California (2006)

    Gnarls Barkley - Crazy (2006)

    Are y'all crazy?

The RHCP are one of the best bands of all time and one of my favorite bands, but this song is nowhere near their best or the best of this time period. Very derivative stuff.

While I agree, I cannot figure out how Crazy made it this far. No matter how many times I voted against it, it just kept moving on.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

I was at a music festival in Miami back in 2007 with some friends. Gnarls Barkley was there and halfway through "Crazy" we had to leave.....but only because Daft Punk was starting to play! I saw your favorite that night as well St. Troy, Duran Duran. That was a very fun night!

They were my favorite, from 1982 probably through 2006 or so. I haven't seen them in years, but good to know they're still ticking.

I think this is to me the most surprising poll. "Dani California" isn't even the best song off that album!

The poll has closed. The winner of the 2005-2009 time period is Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California (2006).

It will represent this era in the Tournament Finals.

Two Peppers tracks in the Tournament Finals. I did not expect even one, to be honest.
