I just finished a 17 hour work day. I came home to a box from Suntup Editions. I can hardly stop fondling this book. The wood boards are elegant. The whole presentation is outstanding. Pics will have to wait until the morning.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
I have a good friend that has seen the pics AND is literally losing it trying to get a copy. He is offering $2000US plus shipping for one if anyone is interested. My goodness.... With the CRAZY sale that happened last month, among a few (VERY few) other sales I am aware of... these books are already going down in collecting history. Paul, congratulations... You deserve it. I cannot wait for the next announced book!!!!!!!!!!!

Zelig, I think your in box may be full so you may need to do some cleaning up.
Sorry, I may have been filled also but I just cleared some.
Thank you all for your comments! I am super pleased that you are enjoying this edition so much. It certainly is one of my favorites.
Mike, we're all straight there. Pleasure to have made your acquaintance.
By the way, here are some details on the papers I used for the wrapping.
Spoiler:
Now I have to get the variant!
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Ouch... packaging variant. Probably a first... ha ha...
I've been seeing the pictures of this book come up on here and social media... Gorgeous, beautiful, stunning - what a wonderful homage to King's novel. Paul, you should be extremely proud, and all the owners, what a wonderful representation of your love for King's work. And to think that all of this goes on within this TDT org community.

Even the paper is effing tremendous.
Zelig, truly you are doing God's work.
Despite being highly unlikely to ever own anything you produce, I am fully prepared to take a bullet for you.

I LOVE how the burn pattern carries over to the lettering on the tray case...Its little touches like this that really make these books SPECIAL.
But you missed the orange color of the proof by that much.
On 2nd though...Together they really complement the flames. I STAND CORRECTED.
Isn't that foil amazing! I love it so!

Is it foil with a wood grain pattern?

St. Troy what can I say man.... I don't have any words. Thank you for your appreciation of the work I do with these books. It is greatly appreciated.
Yeah, it works now that I see them all together.
Yes, so here's a quick story behind the case. There was an unfortunate breakdown in communication, or some such mishap, and my instructions did not quite make it through to the box maker. Anyway, they stamped and made all the covers for the boxes without following my instructions. It was an honest mistake. Fortunately, they had not completed the boxes. Just the stamped covers.
They sent me a picture of what it, and I did not like it at all. So I went over there immediately, and we did a bunch of experiments trying different materials, and different foils until I found a combination I liked.
They trashed the first round of covers and started over. And I am so pleased we made that change because I really like the final version.
Here's some picture of various samples we tested. As well as the foil St. Troy asked about. It's a special effects foil that looks distressed. They had a roll of this sitting on the shelf, and we grabbed that, and it was perfect.
