    Found this on eBay, by a seller who sold it for $430 (crazy!!!): "Fans were waiting anxiously at the booth assuming it may be Stephen King but a lady came and sat down and proceeded to sign copies of Charlie the Choo Choo as Beryl Evans.

    This was a promotional signing that took place at the Simon and Schuster booth at the San Diego Comic Con."

    Another question for this UK edition - is the BOOK limited to 1000 copies or is the numbered PRINT limited to 1000 copies? The picture says INCLUDES LIMITED EDITION PRINT, so I am thinking it is a regular trade edition with a print signed and numbered to 1000. Unless I am reading it wrong.

    Well it has a slipcase also, so who knows if they are just putting a trade into a slipcase and adding a signed print or if it will be different than the trade?
    Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.

    These are the original promotional copies given out at SDCC where they hired an actress to sign. That copy is one of the cheaper ones to sell.

    I had pre-ordered the "standard" UK first edition of Charlie from the Book Depository around a month ago. I got a notification today that they are "unable to fulfil" tis order and a refund was issued. I wonder whether it has anything to do with a dramatic change of publication date, perhaps due to the UK Limited coming out? No idea.

    This would be the first print of the second edition, no?

    This describes the copy I have. The sticker on the back says ISBN 9781534401235, but the copyright page says 9781471163777, and the number line runs 10 to 1. If this is so rare, maybe I should go to Barnes and Noble and see if I could get the other 5-6 copies that they had.

    Dave's always treated me well. Although his prices are a tad on the high side at times. Shipping to me as always been fairly quick as well. Not sure I'd pay what he's asking for the book. Maybe a B&N trip to try and score one isn't a bad idea.
