    Default Great Music - Round 3: 1970-1974 (Group 4 of 12)

During the third round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to two tracks you would like to move onto the playoffs. The top two tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward..

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

Don McLean - American Pie (1971)

    Pink Floyd - Money (1973)

Rod Stewart - Maggie May (1971)

    Al Green - Let's Stay Together (1971)

    aaack!
    American Pie is iconic
    Money is epic
Maggie May is Rod Stewart at his best
and Lets Stay Together introduced the R&B groove to whitebread suburban kids like me...
and I cant choose up to two I MUST CHOOSE THEM ALL!

I sacrificed a June Bug and asked the Gods of the "Hammer Pants" to make sure American Pie moved on.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.

Maggie May was released as a "B" side to Stewart's Reason to Believe.
