Just plain stupid. I will never get on bored with this type of tom foolery. Never... The space required for this book alone has got to be one of the largest waste of spaces on a collectors shelf.
I can appreciate your opinion, brother, but to call others collecting habits "stupid" or "a waste of space"; not cool IMO.
Like I said.. it is my opinion. As yours is.. what I said is 'not cool'. Just remember my good man... opinions are like bellybuttons.. everyone has one!

Keep in mind man... it’s a forum. I am only expressing my frustration with the silly amount of variants. Isn’t that what forums are for? Expressing oneself?

Indeed, brother! And like family, which we are here in some screwed up form or another, not always going to see eye to eye. Agree to disagree But can't argue your point on the variants with this one. I just have no self-control And they (H&S) know it!

Edit: I commend you on yours btw

Owen King is appearing "In Conversation" at the London book store, Blackwells, on 22nd November.

Tickets are the princely sum of GBP3.00!

No mention in the promotions of whether or not he'll be signing books.

    I think it weighed about 33lb's !!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

It was a tad heavy as SB was no small book x9. Huge thanks again to Simon for putting all this together for me. Hopefully H&S will take it easier on him come The Outsider release date

Dumb question, but can someone please remind me what is so interesting about the airport editions?

Sorry, Peter Sellers is no longer with us [and it would have been a lot funnier if you'd said you were AFTER the fox, darn it!]
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.

LOL. I can always count on you, Steve! The Fox has been located so that's not the one I'm missing. Nor The Tiger it would appear. Email sent to find out if The Moth or The Snake is hole up at Jeff's place. To be continued......

Lots of people are trying to sell them on UK ebay without success. Lots of sellers and no buyers. I would think they are worth half the original price.

By offering them as a set, what you're essentially offering is convenience, because the individual volumes come up for sale pretty frequently. So the key will be condition: its much harder to build a set which is fine or near fine, by finding those individual volumes in that condition.

If the books are in unremarkable condition - some wear, but no major bumps, tears or flaws - I'd price them at $100-$125 for the five volumes. If they are in flawless condition, you might be able to add $25-$50 to that.

If we're just talking UK HCs, a full set would be 10 books. The 5 you mention in blue, the 4 in purple, and the S/L. Things got way out of hand with this release.

I think, like me, the Cemetery Dance Editions are the ones outstanding. I’ve got 16 copies of that book, not counting duplicates, or additionally signed copies 😳😳, and not including the CD ones
