    Default Great Music - Round 2: 1970-1974 (Group 8 of 16)

During the second round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to three tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top three tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

ZZ Top - La Grange (1973)

    Aerosmith - Dream On (1973)

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man (1974)

David Bowie - Suffragette City (1972)

Harry Nilson - Without You (1972)

While in a good group..Dream On produces strong numbers!

I can definitely see it making it pretty far in the playoffs, but this time period is chock-full of classics. Surprised that "Without You" is so behind.

I just realized that I voted for Suffragette City instead of Simple Man. Can you switch those when adding the totals?
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

Great song (I voted for it). But to be fair, very tough competition in this grouping.
