FWIW, If I had extras of any CD "IT" that I'd purchased in the past, I'd be selling all but one of each. Sadly, I wasn't smart enough (nor had the liquidity) to buy every Gift and every Lettered edition. I would have quintupled my investment in 6 years.

IT S/L has reached the bar of $1800-$2000 and Portfolio seems to be around $300. I think David could get $2250-$2500 out of a set the way things are going... I have to disagree with you RF ONLY on one condition. IF the movie is huge (and it is looking to be) and with a high Rotten Tomatoes score, audience score (Cinemascore) then the movie will hold and in fact increase in value ONLY because there is another film that will be coming. I also thing there will be a whole new generation of readers. IT is now back on the NY Times Best Seller list. Like 30 years after the fact! I think the drop in value (I agree with your guess at this time RF) will come after the second film. That is my gut on this anyways

All of the Bachman books have skyrocketed in value, This being to slowest to appreciate.
I have it on my watch/buy now list. 5 years ago-less than $100 for a NF. Today-$175.

I'm curious what people think about this lettered Gunslinger that's on Gerald's website. It's listed for 10,000 dollars, which seems like it would be in the ballpark valuewise, except for the inscription. It's inscribed to Dick and signed by King on the page opposite the limitation page, which I'm guessing detracts from the value a bit, unless you happen to be named Dick. I know if I was spending 10 grand on a lettered book, I wouldn't want it to be personalized. Unless it was a red numbered EOTD or Plant. Any thoughts?
