If the condition of both book and case are mint, probably in the region of $1,600 - $1,700 USD.
It would be worth even more with the matching #28 art portfolio....

Anubis,
I'm guessing as a package that this may be worth $1350. ($1200 for the S/L based on betts recent sale and $150 for the Dolso case) love the dolso case but I think most collectors would still prefer the original traycase. I think the Dolso case is a nice artistic companion to the S/L but I'm guessing would be valued lower than it's "retail" cost because it is limited by size and limitation number on the front.
Was this a previous HF item or something someone had done custom?
I disagree with this assessment. You're forgetting that #28 is a number featured highly within the novel, which no doubt adds considerable desirability - and therefore value (rather like owning #217 of The Shining). Notwithstanding the dolso case, Erin Wells's original artwork must be worth at least $200 USD....
I don't think the number 28 is an overly significant number as it relates to the book or king. It certainly isn't in the category of 217 for The Shining or 19 for the DT series. This is all based on opinion but my opinion doesn't factor in number 28 as adding a premium to the S/L. I could be wrong and maybe it does to someone but in general I don't think it does.
I value the piece of Erin's art at about $100. I believe her rate (or at least it was a couple of years ago) was $100 for a one page full color Remarque. Her paintings are considerably more than her colored pencil drawings.
It's a tough item to put a value on so I just broke it down by its parts basing on what I think the average collector would value this at. Again there may be a collector who loves the idea of a dolso cased S/L IT and maybe be willing to pay a premium.
This actually belonged to my bro in law who has been having really tough times for over a year now.
Also please note that the book is housed in the new Dolso case but it also comes with the original case which is also in Fine condition.
I have a question about the Christine S/L. Prices have seemed really high lately. I've been very surprised with the $900 sale prices with Betts recently - Is that truly an accurate reflection of current value? I'm negotiating for a NF copy right now for $775, and am wondering if that is a good price or not.
I made a mistake. The house on Neibolt Street is #29 not #28, therefore this number is not specific to IT.
However, I do believe that copy #29 of IT would be comparable to copy #217 of The Shining. A whole chapter is dedicated to the house at 29 Neibolt Street within the pages of IT, rather like how a whole chapter is dedicated to the woman in room #217 within The Shining. Both books are equally as famous and highly regarded amongst fans. I would not try to equate either number to the premium attached to #19 within the DT books, as a number heavily associated within a series of seven books against only one is not a fair comparison.
I would still argue that they are not comparable. Room 217 is a cornerstone of The Shining and the number 217 has become significant in many aspects of that book, especially the art associated with the book. I think the fact that you have read IT 5-6 times and 29 doesn't bear any significance to you shows that the number is not "tied" to the novel whereas anyone who has read The Shining just once probably remembers which room Danny wasn't supposed to go in.
#29 would be a cool book to own but again I don't see it as being a premium and certainly not to the point of 217 would be to The Shining.
I saw THESE on eBay, and thought I'd ask for opinions. I know there are people around here that collect scripts. Are they rare? Is it a good price? I actually really liked the movie, cheesy as it was.
Thanks all!
EDIT: Never mind. They're gone.

Yeah.. I have read IT 3 times and #29? Never ever even thought of it. Not like 217 OR 19... it would add ZERO value to that book for me.

Current value of SP The Shining S/L?
What would be the value on a S/L Cycle of the Werewolf with a matching number art portfolio? I know that #85 sold for 3950 on Betts recently, but I'm wondering about a number above 100 that doesn't have the original werewolf sketch. Any input would be appreciated.
Going rate for a F/F UK 1st/1st Different Seasons? Thanks!

Hi team. Thoughts on the value of this Salems Lot?
Thanks

Depends are you buying it for the DJ or the full set? The book itself is not worth much to me in that condition but I would say that the DJ is most of the cost in those anyway and that one looks to be in NF condition so $400+. Other people may have other opinions so seek a second value as well.
Stay below $500.
