Yeah, well if someone is willing to pay $10,000, pm me.
What is the value of the Talisman S/L in NF/NF condition? In the copy that I'm looking at, one of the books has very minor rubbing to the front boards.
Last 5 to sell at Betts...
The Talisman S/L #325 Fine books in NF slipcase. Light soiling to slipcase else fine. $425
The Talisman S/L #946 - F/F $550
The Talisman S/L #946 - slight rubbing on picture of one book; slipcase has indentation at bottom (pic) - priced accordingly $499
The Talisman S/L #1167 in slipcase; signed by Stephen King, Peter Straub and Stephen Gervais. Fine books (2 volume set) in Near Fine_ slipcase (very light handling wear to linen) Beautiful Set! $575
The Talisman S/L #1187; ZERO wear to Queen pictures on front on both volumes (rare!) and slipcase is pretty awesome too (cream cloth usually shows dust easily and shelfwear, I don't see any on this) $599
Thanks Alan!
Value for the UK 1st / 1st of the Bachman Books Hardcover? Thanks team
1/1 Shining (ad lists all correct points, offers pics) for $175.
Reasonable? Worth following up on?
"Thanks, but no, it isn't a cowboy hat. It's a fedora. And yes, Indianna Jones is still socially relevant."
Chris, I'd say it's not a F/F or NF/NF copy if they are only asking that amount. Following up never hurts IMO as long as they are willing to give you plenty of detailed photos. Might turn out to be a great score.
You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....
That's a nice price if the book is in decent shape.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Always check the spine they are known for being faded. I had to buy two to make one in NF/NF shape.
What's the value of a large print Black House signed by King and Straub?
Thoughts on the value of this Talisman S/L? Rubbing on the front boards. Otherwise perfect.
Thanks. The Strand was selling it for $600. Tried to talk them down a little, but had no luck.
To his credit, the pics showed all the faults. Book plate that had been magic-markered over, a red stamp that may have been from a library, some water damage, etc.
While ths is a hole that needs filling on my shelf, i would hate myself if i picked this one. Close but no guitar.
