David sold a US Revivsl Proof
It was, I had two US. I felt like the US was harder to come by. I like the look of the UK better though.
Yes there is a manuscript of "The Napkins" (I prefer this title to "The Eyes of the Dragon"). It is annotated by Stephen mostly on the First Draft, and somewhat on the Second Draft. The main difference in the first few pages is the eventual fate of the Juggler. In the First Draft, he is hung for killing the Dowager Queen, and ultimately in the Second Draft, he is beheaded. It is also interesting to note that even edits that Stephen made, were not followed through on to the trade editions. Notably, he wanted to drop the Dowager title when referring to the Queen, but they were never cut. The manuscript came in at 385 pages in the First Draft and finally at 348 in the Second. It also comes with 8 pencil drawings by artist Kenneth Ray Linkhauser (Linkous) that show various stages of Flagg, the tower and the beheading, that he compared to Goya.
Wow Gerald very nice! I love the case as well!
There you go! Now I remember who told me about it. Thanks Gerald for showing us some pictures of this. Not sure about anyone else here but I've never seen photos of this item before. It's stunning with the case and all. Thanks again for sharing it.
Amazing Gerald! Beautifully presented.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Wow.

I think there should be a Bob and Gerald "Collectible Off" thread.
One of them picks an item (start off with something easily obtainable that the rest of us mere mortals might have) and then other has to show something a little better. Then the original person shows something better again. An interesting fact or story behind the item could also count as a 'bid'
See here for an example of this
