I don't think that $240 inscribed Misery was a paperback. I believe that was part of the Christmas/10 year anniversary sale.

It’s great historical information but IMHO worthless as a price guide without a time element.

All of those sales could have been 10 years ago or could have been last week.

Thanks, Alan. I appreciate the information.

I disagree that the information is useless as a price guide. Looking at pure prices with everything else constant, you can develop what I call a "comfort zone" price. That is the price you are willing to pay and yet stay within personal price preferences. The prices above stay in a small range. That tells me that there is not a huge demand for the title. It also tells me that people pay a similar price even though condition varies. There is valuable information in just the prices, IMHO.

Default 1st post here. Seeking some insight into a large collection of Stephen King related i

I have very little experience using forums to seek information so please be patient. I have so many items to catalog, as I was trying to build a lot of Dark Tower related items to sell, I discovered I am in possession of two full sets of all five original issues of The Magazine of Fantasy and science Fiction in which, I believe, The Gunslinger was serialized. I am interested in figuring out their value, and am prepared to sell them. I have a great deal of magazines in which Stephen King was published, including many Cavaliers that I'd like to be able to identify as valuable issues. I'm linking my reddit post as a comment as I cant figure out how to upload photos from my phone.

Welcome. The mags without labels in fine shape fetch $250-350 lately if that helps. Great place to find values here.

I have probably 25-40 books. Is this Dark Tower specific? I don't really know what to look for.

Default The Dark Tower: The Complete Concordance

I tried to post some photos of my Dark Tower related books. I do have number 406 signed edition of the Concordance. Any help figuring out how to post photos would be helpful.

Hey I'm that guy from Reddit, welcome!
This forum is for all King collecting, not just DT. People will help you find out what you have and current values.
I believe your images aren't working because you put an imgur album in an [ IMG ] tag, either make it a link or put each individual image in its own [ IMG ] tag.

Hey, thanks again for the direction! Still confused as to how to post photos. I have a whole lot of stuff here. I believe several first editions of early books. Is there no way to upload photos from my computer here or do I need to make links to imgur?

You can make an album here and add images to it. However, you might need a certain # of posts before you can? I don't remember. I just link to images elsewhere

I have a copy of The Shining here that appears in all ways to be a very early edition but perhaps a later printing? It has a code on the gutter on the page following 447, "MP1CC". Anyone have any idea what version this is? Please help!
