What’s the value of A Book of Horrors s/l?

Only 100 were made, 83 of which were sold to the public.
Issue was $995. Despite the rarity, I'd say $ 1.25k.
Definitely get another estimate or two.

I’m with ya and they are hard to find. Remember the one a year or so ago that went for like $3300 on auction? Now that was a CD auction but still. I would dare say $1250-$1500 is a fair bet

I know it has what I would call 3 flaws. A missing or rubbed on "D" on the spine for Double Day. That check mark and slight spine lean (maybe). But it's still a first ed and signed. I hope it's not too bad.

I don't know if I would buy another one. Between this and my Nightshift, I know they are not perfect but I have other fish to fry. Sometimes we have what we have and that needs to be good enough.

I would also agree with Glen. Not based only about condition, but a recent signature will be less desirable than anything signed in the same decade of publication.

I know it's unfortunate that there is no date. To me though, it does look like an older sig. Again, thanks for the input.

Signature impresses me as a late 1980's, early 1990's signature. Desirable? Yes, but not a signature that is circa 1974 (Carrie publication) to 1980.
