There's one on ebay now but it's priced highly for it's condition and the seller has relisted a few times.

They very rarely come up for sale however and I was lucky to pick up a Library bound recently one for $160! Not in the same league as Bob or Jon's but I'm just happy to have it in my collection

My first copy (the one I used for the entry in the 1st Editions Catalog) was pretty nice but not perfect. I think I paid £850 for it and I sold it for about the same price in dollars. My current copy is a 'fair'/VG book with a significant spine lean but a pretty nice DJ which I got for about half of what I paid for the other copy. I sold my full set of UK 1sts a couple of years ago but I recently decided that my collection just wasn't the same without the UK 'Big Five' (plus Dead Zone/Danse Macabre) - so I got those back on the shelf but settled for a poor man's Carrie (relatively speaking!!).

Cool, thanks. I thought it would be a little higher than that. Still though, that's a lot of bread for a book! What would that same book go for with King's signature on it?

I'm negotiating with a seller on a S/L Regulators. Original price was $1,250, which is way high. He was talked down to an even $1,000 but I'm not sure if this is reasonable. I thought it's value was more in the $900 range. Thoughts?

Betts sold one with "modest shelf wear" for $950.. If it's perfect $1K is a good price.

Betts prices have risen recently to $1000. Before then it went for $550 to $750.

Lot Guy was selling a PC for $555. That's below the issue price of £450 (~$712).

Considering this was a limitation of 33, it has one of the largest set of additional PC and unnumbered copies of any SK limited!

IMHO Pretty much worthless. I would say a REAL signed blank 3X5 card would be worth more.

Kind of a strange "collectible" it's a matted color art "printing plate" from the book "Imagination Fully Dilated" published by Cemetery Dance in 1998. This was given away to those who bought the 25 copy lettered edition of the book. It's 14" by 20" and is signed by the artist Alan M. Clark. It shows the same image (in different stages) four times. Very interesting and it's in great condition. Any thoughts on what's it worth?

Idea on the value of a S/L The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. #125 of 125.

I know it's below publish price of $900 but any ideas where?

I'm working on updating my collecting software database.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Mulleins

*edited* original publisher price was $500 with an additional corporate greedy ass fee of an additional $500. Why did they do this??????? Because they could.......and did.

This should be some good dialogue. I don't think it is as far below issue price as we may think. Primarily as a result of scarcity.

How many have we seen for sale in a public forum over the course of the last 3 years? When is the last time David had one?

I'll throw out $800 to start the conversation....

I vowed to myself that i would never buy one at any price, but as it turns out, i did have a price afterall - $699 to be exact.
When i found one for just under $700, i decided what-the-heck and picked it up. I know there is some stigma attached to this one and i don't think i'm the only one that feels this way, so i would guess <$700.

BTW, wasnt the final issue price higher than $900?

Yeah, Boome and I might not agree on politics - but I'm 100 percent behind his boycott of this title! Haha

Although getting it for $700 is a good price too, with just the 125 limitation.

Goofing around with the wayback machine, and based on this cached page (LINK) it looks like the originally announced price was $350.
