I didn't opt in for this, but am sure that I'll be regretting this decision. Can't wait to see this thread light up with arrivals
I ordered one and can't wait. I think this one is going to be a "whopper".
Pretty amped myself
Will not be long before we are able to have this book, I ordered one also.
Maybe Paul can give us a sneak peak at the packaging peanuts.
Yep, I love it. The more I see the finished book the more I'm drawn to it.
Thanks Kevin. My bad, I neglected to respond to your comment. You're welcome, and happy to have been involved with it. It was a fun process.
Well, you'll have one more shot at getting a copy at next year's Haven Fundraiser!
You must have read my mind because I was thinking of doing that, but never got around to it... so why not. Here you go. And the bag was bigger because some of the peanuts have already been used. I think I won't be needing peanuts for quite some time. Also..... I will have an update on shipping, etc. next week.
Peanuts GALORE!
Glad you got the anti-static. I've shipped and received a fair share of books, and foam nuts with static cling are no good...
I like the ones the cats can eat (we need a cat emoji)
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
My cat would love that but they have to be the edible kind because she can't help herself. I guess they are delicious (if you are feline).

Where's Charlie Brown?
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
How about a picture of the tape?
Come on man...I got the jones for the book.
This is SO exciting!!
Can't we just roll around in the peanuts for awhile?
Well, the time has come... I'm going to start shipping the books over the next few days. Some will go out Friday, and the rest Monday.
I have about half of the books packed up and ready to go, so will start shipping those. The remaining slipcases will be arriving tomorrow, so as soon as those come in, I'll get that batch packed up and sent off right away.
Speaking about packing books, I must thank Rick (tippy4) for offering to help me. When I posted how I have a bad back, and just opening the boxes from the book binder was a challenge, he asked if I needed help packaging the books, and I took him up on his kind offer. It was a big help for me, so thanks Rick.
I'm really excited for everyone to receive their copies. I was thinking the other day that one of the most pleasurable things about this project is seeing how excited those are who bought the book. I think we all know how great it feels when we receive something special in the mail to add to our collections, and being able to play a small part in that is one of the best things about this.
