    I don't want to share a pic of the actual book as I'd rather it be more of a surprise when they arrive, but a spine label is a piece of leather than is cut to size and applied to the spine, and the stamping is done on the leather. This is just a general example of what it is. The red section with the lettering is the called a label:

    It's a darkish red. Yeah, I like how it looks.

    I just ordered a massive bag of peanuts today for the packaging. It's 20 cubic feet. No idea if it'll be enough or too much. You could get them in pink, white or green. Of course I went with green.

    The bookbinder wasn't able to get all of the slipcases done in time for this shipment. There will be 7 short, which will follow at the end of the month. I'm hoping they will be done by the time the books are in and I have everything prepared for shipment to those who ordered. Then maybe I will just have him overnight the remaining slipcases so they can all ship out together. Let's play this one by ear. Will keep you all posted.

    I will keep you updated when I have everything packed and ready to ship. I want to wait for the remaining slipcases that weren't finished in time. I got an email from the binder today saying they will be ready next week. In the meantime between now and then I'm going to start getting most of the books ready to go. Stay tuned.
