    Default Great Music - Round 1: 1990-1994 (Group 1 of 16)

During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

Van Halen - Right Now (1991)

Annie Lennox - Walking on Broken Glass (1992)

    EMF - Unbelievable (1990)

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (1991)

Michael Jackson - Black or White (1991)

    The Cranberries - Dreams (1992)

Haddaway - What Is Love (1993)

Wow, "Right Now" in sixth place is unexpected! That's such an iconic song.

Interesting that Dreams is currently leading the pack, when I struggled to get that song seconded during the nominating round.

When I hear that song, I immediately think of the Clear Pepsi commercial.

I am having visions of Night at The Roxbury. That isn't good.

With less than 24 hours to go "Walking on Broken Glass", "Black or White", and "What Is Love" are tied for fifth.
