"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Too bad I won't be able to attend. I'll have my company's conference in England or Austria on May/June. Can't afford to take a trip just after the conference.

It started as a meet-up on Monday the 6th of June. Simon then said he will arrive on the 4th or 5th.
Hotels are cheaper for Sunday and Monday than for the weekend.
There was also some conversation about kicking Simon to the curb and going on a different date.

I'm not trying to be difficult
Right now I can commit to the 5th or the 6th (either is fine).

I'm thinking about going to Vegas for this, however the only timing that works for me would be to fly in on Thu. 6/2 and fly out on Sun. 6/5.
Simon, is there a decent chance of getting together on 6/4 after you arrive? It's a 24-hour town.

Ok, I went ahead and booked flights. We arrive on Thursday, June 2nd, early evening, and depart early afternoon on Sunday, June 5th.
Hope to see some of you other collectors!

I'm bound by company policy on flights, which wont get confirmed until much nearer the date. (prob around April). If I dont make the Sat Night, maybe we could do another breakfast/brunch/lunch meeting on the Sunday?

There is better than a 50% chance that I will be going. I was looking at staying at the Bellagio, but I'm flexible. I would likely come in Sunday morning and stay 2 nights (my wife and daughter want to come and they will run off somewhere to see some shows).
I plan on going too. Still need to book a room.
It sounds like there will be two groups with one group leaving on Sunday just as the others are coming in. It doesn't make much sense to me. I know this was discussed up thread to some degree but it would be nice if most were going to be together for more than a couple of hours. Might not be possible though.
Apparently Sunday will be the day that most members will be there.
I plan to get an early flight on Sunday and stay Sunday and Monday nights. I see that Jerome et al., are doing the same.
It appears that one member is coming early and leaving Sunday.
