Nothing?
I've been working on it in my spare time - It's a beauty Shannon I'll give you that.
so far I have tried a number of things (Character substitution, Ascii values, removing repeated sequences, etc) I am assuming the gap between the long number and the second number on each line is significant? normally this kind of code indicates that the smaller number is a key to the larger, but that may not be the case in this instance.
030418 repeats frequently, again this may be padding to disguise the actual values - not sure (if so there is a potential mistake as the last line has a '0404184')
I've probably reached the limits on my ways of coming at this, so a clue may be in order here.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
The forum puts the gap there. No significance.
Alright let's see ... a clue ... Hmmm ... I'll change it up a bit (any gaps/spaces are not significant):
0304187703041881.0304188109191881.0304181703041825 .0304186104151865.0304183703041841.030418170304182 5.0304185303041857.0304184503041849.03041841040418 41.0304185303041857.0304182903041837
And the clue is ... you (Mr. Stroppy Goblin) might not be familiar with the key to this one.
Grrrrr, nothing!?
I've been trying to figure this out too.Spoiler:
03041877-03041881
03041881-09191881
03041817-03041825

03041837-03041841

03041853-03041857
03041845-03041849
03041841-04041841
03041853-03041857
03041829-03041837
There's quite a bit more to go on the riddle, so I guess I'll push it along. The above are date ranges.
Spoiler:
Joe315 wins!
Thank God that one's over, lol
Dammit! I had that from the start but couldn't get the dates to match up. Why? because I forgot the US has different date formats to the UK so I was searching for an event that occurred on 3rd April 1877 and not 4th March 1877!!
Aaargghhhh!!!!!

Christ!
I had the presidential term thing figured out but I thought it spelled "I can't breath."
The apostrophe was a bitch!
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
