Fun With Flags: Round 1 - Group M
Please vote for the best flags; you may choose up to six flags. The top six will be moving on to the next round. This is NOT a vote for which country is "better". We are strictly voting based on the aesthetics and the design of each flag, not taking into account any geopolitical issues. Below each flag you'll find a link to the Wikipedia article about that flag, if you're curious to find out more about its history and symbolism.
Gonna go with Azerbaijan, Eritrea, Vanuatu, Qatar, Serbia. Love those colors on Azerbaijan.

Qatar and Bahrain have similar flags but I think the color and the serrated hoist look much better in the Qatar version. Love the maroon, Latvia is another country with a maroon flag. Great stuff!
I love the Crest in Serbia's. I wish I knew more about the crown and why it is offset on the flag; not just offset but the shield of the crest hangs below the flag itself. I suspect there is a story there...and this is why I love flags.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
