Fun With Flags: Round 1 - Group B (Tiebreaker)
Please vote for the best flags; you may choose up to two flags. The top two will be moving on to the next round. This is NOT a vote for which country is "better". We are strictly voting based on the aesthetics and the design of each flag, not taking into account any geopolitical issues. Croatia

I went with Croatia and South Sudan (one of the newest flags, if not the newest). Cyprus, again, is just strange.
Flag Trivia!: The Cypriots chose this symbol not out of patriotism, but rather out of compromise. They sought a neutral symbol that both the Greek and Turkish sides of the island could agree upon and the map fit the bill!Originally Posted by pablo

Yes, but personally I'm not a fan of map flags (see Kosovo).
Croatia. I've always loved that flag. I hope to go there someday.
This is closing in two days. Not too sure what to do in case the tiebreaker is tied, as South Sudan and Cyprus now.
If the tie isn't broken before the poll closes in a little while here, I'll rescind my vote for South Sudan.
Thankfully, I didn't have to do that as we got one last vote in just before closing. And so Croatia and South Sudan move on to Round 2, and Cyprus is eliminated.
