Voted for War of the Worlds (really underrated, in my opinion) and Terminator 2. I loved both Donnie Darko and Her, but couldn't vote for them here.

Spielberg's' War of the Worlds is amazing. So underrated, and an incredibly tense and scary film. Not to mention an allegory for 9/11.
Also, I was expecting T2 to do well, but 29 for 29? I hope it doesn't blow through to the Final like this. It's a great film, but it's more of a great action film than a great sci-fi film.
Please do. They are two of the sci-fi films in awhile. Curious why not Donnie Darko considering how many sci-fi aspects their are to the plot....I mean tangent universes, wormholes, time travel, paradoxes... I can deal with Her not doing well since it's a recent film but Donnie Darko needs to have a strong showing in this tournament.
