I agree : I prefered it to A BIG MARRIAGE, which is obviously a different theme... although love is all around it too

I have been trying to record and /or watch this for three days on Lifetime. At each attempt, Lifetime ran the movie "Bride Wars." It is interesting to note that "Bride Wars" was nowhere to be found on the Lifetime schedule.
    I will keep trying.

I thought is was pretty good. Followed really well with the written story.
    Spoiler:
What did everyone think about Joan Jett's character calling Tessa at the end and saying "I know what you did"? I got the impression they left it open for a follow up story, but I could be way off.

Thought it was a pretty good and faithful adaptation.

I think her going "You go, girl" indicates that she's not going to do anything with the information. I guess they just wanted to have some closure for the character and didn't have time for the extra scene with her from the book.

I continue to see and record random movies labeled "Big Driver" on the Lifetime schedule.

I reckon it's time for angry phone calls.

Terrible movie. Watched it yesterday on DVD.
Almost anytime a voice-over is needed throughout the film, it means the film/network Executives became involved because they didn't understand the movie.

I give it 2/6 beers on the RFSRS

You didn't like it at all Jerome? It wasn't my favorite by any means but I enjoyed it, and thought it followed the story fairly well. I definitely think it's worth a watch Mike.

Don't delete it -- give it a shot. It's quite good. Surprisingly so.

I was pleasantly surprised by the movie as well. Especially after seeing how bad A Good Marriage turned out.

Yeah, I thought Big Driver was well worth watching, particularly good (and explicit) for a Lifetime movie.
