----- i actually like adam sandler movies. I might not LOVE adam sandler movies, but i like them. i do hate jimmy fallon movies. He does great impressions of people, but as an actor and comedian? not that great.

I don't think desensitization and addiction are the same thing.

    I agree about Jimmy Fallon.

Andler is great, in his earlier movies; Waterboy, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore but the middle of his career was hit and miss. Mr. Deeds, 50 First Dates, 8 Crazy Nights, Click, Chuck and Larry are either bad or terribly average. Punch Drunk Love is a favourite movie on mine though, looking forward to seeing Reign Over Me.

I thought 50 first dates was good. Click was passable, Chuck and Larry sucked the big one. Punch Drunk Love, i thought that was just weird.

Punch Drunk Love was the only Adam Sadler movie that I enjoyed, probably because it wasn't a comedic role for him.

One of the first movies I can remember hating was L.A. Story.

I was 11 when it came out and I remember seeing it at a drive-in. It's certainly possible that I was just too young to really understand it, but I remember turning around and watching whatever movie was on the opposite screen. Even though there was no sound.

Ahh, gotta love drive-ins. Too bad there are no more around here anymore.

Seriously? Where do you live (if you don't mind me asking just the state would suffice).

They tore down all ours and put up strip malls.

    Damn you consumerism.

We have two with-in 20 miles. Up until the late '90s there was one about 15 miles away solely dedicated to porn!
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.

    You guys are so lucky.

There's nothing like going to the drive-in on a cool, summer night.

I have very fond memories of the drive-in while growing up. We used to get Arby's and eat it while waiting for the movie to start.

My favorite part was always about half way through the second movie when a guy would break in over the radio and say, "Last call for the snack bar, last call for the snack bar.

    Ah, memories

    I like it because:

    1. It's cheaper at $10 a car than $9 a person at the walk-in.

    2. You can bring your own food.

    3. I can drink my beer.

    4. You can make out in privacy.

I wish we had a drive in around here!

The worst movie I can remember seeing lately was Stick It. Absolute crap. I was sick on the couch and couldnt change channels so I was stuck with it.
