    Default One hit wonders thread!!!

    I got to thinking about the bands who hit us with one hit, and then fade away. One of my favorites is the story of "Golden Earring" who released one of the greatest rock songs, "Radar Love" and then disappeared for like twenty years only to release "Bullet hits the Bone". The funny thing is that they had the nerve to release a "Greatest Hits" album a year or two later!!! LOL

    Golden Earring never disappeared - although from an American perspective it may seem they did.
    And they're definitely not a one hit wonder - they've been a solid band for decades.

    Well, maybe I should have specified "in America", but they had "Radar Love" (arguably one of the best R&R songs all time) and then nothing on the american charts for 20 years, until "Bullet hits the Bone".

    The song was called "Twilight Zone", not "Bullet hits the Bone" and the songs were only 9 years apart
