HELP ME FIND
Insomnia #459
ANY S/L #459
I've had trouble finding this one over the years and especially in good shape. I may have to upgrade in the long-term if I find a better copy.
Proof #167 - Stephen King - Under The Dome - US Advance Uncorrected Proof with Publishers letter
Congrats, Jon! Very unique how you keep finding these proofs 8)
You're amazing Jon! How do you store all your wonderful proofs?
Nice, Jon! I didn't realize this was a hard one to find!
Ha ha! My UTD proof is in great shape! I don't think I have the publisher's letter though. Grrrrrr...

Thanks Rogier. I now run my sources dry.
Thanks Tommy. I keep them in two glazed bookcases, now almost full. Some are bagged -- but hopefully I'll eventually bag them all.
Thanks Dez. It may not be that hard to find, but hard just for me to find.
Unfortunately it looks like all the fine copies are gone. Want to swap.
Congrats, Jon!

Yeah, I didn't realise this was so rare. Good work...
Is Fantabulios a word? It is now, because that's what it is. Congrats on the last few that you did.
The blue Scribner proof is one of the scarcer ones. Scibner then sent out a number of hardcover review copies without dust jackets but with a small sticker on the back with an ISBN number.
It also came with its own handwritten publisher's letter":
John
Oh yes I had one of those (without the letter), I totally forgot about that. And there was the one Bob has with the proof jacket.
Back to UK proofs this week. I never thought I would find this one, especially in such beautiful condition - the DJ is very nice.
Proof #168 - Stephen King - The Tommyknockers - UK Advance Uncorrected Proof
Are there really any that you can't find?
Do you get them from miscellaneous sellers or you just bought a pile of proofs?

Wow Jon, that is just great! The UK Tommyknockers is very scarce, and I don't think I've seen one with DJ. Impressive!
Nice, Jon. Is that a proof dust jacket too?
John
A few are off eBay, but I did buy the majority from one seller privately.
Thanks Michaël. I was quite surprised to see it was going to come with a DJ.
Thanks John. I will check when I get home to confirm, but I'm sure it has a price and barcode and is just a folded 1st DJ.
Can't knock that one!

Production date Feb 18th. Pretty cool. HMMM , I wonder why. But seriously, those are cool and that UK one looks really neat.
Nice one Jon. I don’t think I’ve seen one in such good shape.
Congrats, Jon!
