Thanks Kris, I also like Thinner better than Carrie. The design of the book and all the extras are identical to Carrie. I really like the artwork in Thinner especially the special lettered dustjacket art, hence my avatar.
Just a niggle of the vulture on the traycase and book seems to me to be in the wrong place, off centre and slightly spoils the aesthetics. I'm sure King's signature is a fake on the limitation page, man his signature is getting bad!

I have been after this one for a long time. I have occasionally seen them on eBay and at Betts but they seemed to me to be overpriced. This one a bought at the recent Camelot sale for issue price but it is a PC.

That was one of my Holy Grails for awhile. I wanted the N0S4A2 and Locke and Key set but then they stopped making Locke and Key so I lost a little interest... still an absolutely amazing production though.

Thanks Josh. I stopped with Locke & Key after SubPress stopped the series. I bought the three matching S/L and a lettered of Head Games but I haven't yet continued with the further IDW series releases. Joe the other week said he may write more Locke & Key comics in the future.

Whoa!!! Very, very sweet acquisition, my friend!!!!! That's an extremely handsome looking production there!!! Those 'Remarques" are remarkable as well!!!

Did you realize that the DJ pic looks a lot like your "Avatar"???? Could there be a case for some copy right infringement?

With many thanks to Paul I now have a perfect copy of the US 1st of BOBD. I actually like the US cover better than the UK, which is unusual for me.

Congrats Jon! Thanks for sharing. I really love those Thinner remarques too.
I finally picked up a copy of BOBD at Costco last night and the DJ has the weirdest texture. I can imagine finding mint copies in the future may be an issue.

.com. They honour best price at release date and I think shipping was negligible.

Thanks. Yes, the US edition has an odd texture to it. The UK version I think will fair even less well, as it is a white matt untreated/unlaminated paper dust jacket and it will easily pick-up dust and other stains.

That's a bugger. Their packaging can be a bit suspect for intercontinental shipping. I hope the replacement arrives safely. At least you now have a reading copy (assuming you don't have to return it to the UK?!!!!).

This is the other 'Lettered' edition that arrived recently. Even though it is not strictly a lettered edition and more of a deluxe edition, it was produced in lettered edition quantities. I shelve these editions with my UK limiteds and not with the lettereds.

Stephen King - The Colorado Kid - UK 'Lettered' Deluxe Traycased Edition (J.K. Potter Artwork Edition) - Unnumbered/33 Printer's Copy

With the other two variants of the Deluxe Editions (the other two have actual numbers).

All my Colorado Kids. I do not collect gift / artist editions as a rule, so I am missing the PS Unsigned and Artist editions (and I probably do not intend getting them in the future). The top row are the 1st PB, 1st HB Large Print Edition and the PS Uncorrected Advance Proof, the middle row are the S/Ls signed by King and the bottom row are the Deluxe 'Lettered' editions also signed by King.

Wow, that's great. Congratulations Jon. Sadly my Colorado Kid collection is rather poor. All I have is the paperback and the proof. I didn't even know about that large print hardcover edition.

I have to agree with you on the BoBD. I too generally prefer the UK DJ's, but not in this instance. For a change the U.S. guys got a better handle on the DJ.
