I decided not to vote in this bracket. I've only seen a few of these and of that group I would have voted for Alien.
ALIEN is the only other film - apart from Psycho - to advance with double digit figures. I foresee an interesting match up between these two.
Need one more vote for Session 9 and one for The Omen, to advance Session 9 and force an epic tiebreak between The Others and The Omen

Yes, although I will say that I'm shocked that only 3 of us voted for The Others. It's the perfect ghost story. Makes me think it won't make it beyond round 2

You have to. It's an absolute classic, and still super scary.
The Omen is one of the few movies that after watching it, I actually had nightmares. I dreamed I was in the graveyard and the dogs were there and I was trying to get out but had to keep opening graves... Also, the religious aspect really resonated. Classic film; classic horror. It got my vote.
I did not expect it would just get two. I was sure it would move on.
there's something about that movie that makes it escape my mind all the time. I know I watched it twice. When I was watching it the second time, I clearly remember thinking, "Holy shit, it's not all that bad as I thought, wow, it's a good film, actually!" Now I don't remember what I was thinking that about.
