    the rose madder mask: loool!

in CREEPSHOWS, Stephen Jones mentions a comic book based on The Lawnmower Man.
I know that this movie have no interest for King's fan, but.. does anyone have ever heard about that comic? does anyone own it???

I have a preview of the one adapted from the movie. I don't know if it was finally made, but the preview exists. I seriously doubt I'll be able to post a pic today (I'm leaving in a few hours), but I'll try.

'Tis mine, yes. Selling it? Hadn't really thought about it before, but let me ponder. I have a Dark Half mask, too!

I'm going to pass on this, too. But it does remind me of the good old days....way back in the early 1960's when I read Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. On one of the back pages where there were all kinds of ads for items from Captain Company (you Famous Monsters fans know what I am talking about) there was always an ad for "Genuine Soil from Dracula's Castle." It was supposed to be authentic soil from the ruins of Vlad's castle in Transylvania and was in a coffin shaped amulet on a chain. I never bought one back then....all my money went for back issues of Famous Monsters and baseball cards, but I always sort of wanted one. About 10 years ago some guy was selling off items from the liquidation of Captain Company and Warren Publishing and I was able to get one. It's pretty cool in a campy sort of way.

    I love those memories.

This isn't the exact ad mentioned, but it gives everyone the idea.
