I was thinking the same. LOL.I might watch it just hoping that girl on the cover is in the "sex scene."

The seller of the promo items is the owner of darktowercompendium.
I really don't remember the reason, but something from that guy bothered me and I never visited the website again.

Hmm.. he lives in Brampton which is directly on the way to Toronto and that's where I'm going tomorrow morning. I think I just might drop this guy a line.
Isn't the shipping free? Or maybe that's just for Canadian shipping.
Fantastic. It is really just a spiteful gesture. The buyer is the one I have a problem with.
Edit: Just to be clear I am joking.
Hmmm if its out in Oz, must be around here. Need to keep an eye out. That actress is obviously very talented
Hey, Jonathon! Good to hear from you again! It's been a long time.
John
I really really want to find this (USA compatible).
Had to buy me a copy of this
We all float down here!
They say on the Facebook page the movie will be coming to the US soon. The Blog or Facebook page will be the best place to keep checking.

I was in contact with the producers last year (or maybe even 2011). Maybe time to re-establish contact. I think this could be fun.

Problem solved.
Region Free DVD Player
Mark Twain
I think I'll wait. I have enough DVD players.
<-----------------------------Goes to see if one of his DVD players will play multiple formats.
Try a google search on whatever model players you have. Some of them could be made region free with a simple remote key combo.
I know most of the old Oppo players worked that way.
I don't believe it was allowed on blu-ray players though. Something was written into the production licensing agreements for those.

Sounds easy:
o I dug around and found the Sony BRP-S480 unlocking procedure that I've reproduced below. Use it at your own risk. Currently playing in iTunes: Someone Like You by ADELE
Requirement: Until a dedicated code is researched using the player's own remote, programmable OneForAll remotes can be used. These controllers can be purchased very cheaply from most electrical retailers.
Setting up the OneForAll remote control
Note: if your controller doesn't have a 'Magic' button, use 'Setup'.
Make your BDP player region free
- Press DVD
- Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice.
- Press 0533 or 20533 or 1516 to set your controller to 'talk' to the DVD player (only this code works!)
- Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
- Press 994
- Press Magic Key (don't hold)
- Press 00189 (if your OneForAll remote uses 4 digit or 3 digit codes, use less leading zeros)
- Press 1 (this sets it to key 1 - it flashes twice)
- Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
- Press 994
- Press Magic Key (don't hold)
- Press 00255
- Press 2 (this sets it to key 2 - it flashes twice)
- Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
- Press 994
- Press Magic Key (don't hold)
- Press 00095
- Press 3 (this sets it to key 3 - it flashes twice)
- Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
- Press 994
- Press Magic Key (don't hold)
- Press 00221
- Press 4 (this sets it to key 4 - it flashes twice)
- Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
- Press 994
- Press Magic Key (don't hold)
- Press 00079
- Press 5 (this sets it to key 5 - it flashes twice)
Next time you turn on the player it will be region free for DVD playback.
- Use the Sony remote to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it;
- Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the OneForAll remote. The light will start flashing;
- Put the player back into standby with the Sony remote.

First time I've heard of US based viewers discussing the need for multi zoned DVD payers.
Ha! Welcome to my world (10 years ago lol)
Before all DVDs in NZ were multi zoned, it pissed me off so much not being able to watch NTSC zoned DVDs.
