Oh, I get it. I understand now that while some of us can read Stephen King, with all the graphic depictions of sex, death, monsters, and foul-language, that doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt your feelings when I make a slightly unpolitically correct statement on here. Horrors, right? I mean, I don't know if you guys know this, but there is an actual "MELONS" thread on this forum. Just make sure you cover your eyes when checking out THAT one. And don't even get me started on the "What makes you hot?"-type of thread. But I guess because they would seem like more obvious places to hear such "classy" statements, it would be more obvious to avoid so you don't burn your retinas.

My "horrible usage of words" have been addressed and I will try to remember in the future to use words only children would be OK with. I really like this place, but seriously, complaining about something that someone says on an internet message board? Give me a break, lol.

It has nothing to do with the "language" you use, and if you think that's the case then you really don't get it. Some of your posts come across as though you have the maturity level of a 14 year old boy with all the requisite misogyny and dick and fart mentality that go along with it. Some of us don't care to read that, and if you are not capable of expressing your points without resorting to that level of discourse, well, that's unfortunate. The other threads you mention are very different and I hope you can understand why.

Why would how you act on an "internet message board" be any different than how you act everyday? Do you feel that you have no accountability here because you don't have to look into someone's eyes? My advice would be to treat every discussion as though you were having it in person, in mixed company, yes?

Last message about this because I would rather not clog up the board with unrelated and offcourse posts ... Language isn't just words themselves but they way they are used. I speak on here just like I do in real life, and just like in real life conversations, some people get offended. Why would it bother me that people get offended my language? I'm pretty sure there are people that get offended by curse words, yet we all use them frequently here without thinking about that, no?

An "internet message board", as I was saying, is something (with no offense to the importance of this forum, which I find great) very unimportant in the grand scheme of life. And yet you/some others let words affect your feelings to such an extent that you feel obligated to complain.

I understand there are people like you out there --people that get offended easily-- and I now understand that that can affect my standing in the TDT.org community. Simply because I enjoy this forum and I enjoy Stephen king collecting and I see this as an invaluable resource of knowledge and opportunity, I will curb some of the way I speak.

I would rather not get banned. And since I unfortunately see that happening if this were to continue, I will watch what I say. If that wasn't the case, and I wouldn't possibly get banned simply for being a little "classless" at times, I wouldn't change a thing.
