The books really weren't as good for me towards the end:
1. Wastelands (Jake's story is pure magic)
2. Drawing of the Three (Eddie's part is some of the best stuff in the series)
3. Wolves of the Callah (Just WaG with the ka-tet I know and love)
4. Wizard and Glass (Awesome stand-alone story, and Blaine)
5. Gunslinger (It all started here)
6. The Dark Tower (Very emotional)
7. Song of Sussannah (No real beginnig and end)

I agree, it was so short and didn't feel like a complete book on its own. More like a setup for DT7.7. Song of Sussannah (No real beginnig and end)
